A classic vintage Sarouk Mir rug, woven with the finesse and durability that Persian Sarouk pieces are known for. This rug features the traditional Herati (Mir) pattern, a dense lattice of floral motifs that create a structured allover design.
The deep blue field is softened by fading across various sections, giving it a muted, timeworn character. Repeating boteh (paisley) elements in soft reds and ivory add subtle contrast, while the multi-layered borders frame the piece with intricate floral and vine details.
With an aged pile, visible fading, and some aged stains, this rug carries the marks of time and use. The wool remains soft, and despite its wear, it retains the craftsmanship and charm of a well-loved Persian piece. Ideal for those who appreciate the lived-in beauty of antique rugs.

We know oriental rugs' prices can be crazily high online so we always source our products from authentic rug dealers abroad with the most affordable and reasonable prices, and choose the cheapest delivery option (even if it takes months!) so we can pass on the savings to our customers and price our rugs with the slimmest of margins. CLEANING & CARE
We personally vacuum and gently deep clean all the rugs using organic solution but keep in mind, we are not professional rug cleaners and so we still recommend a thorough professional clean especially for tough stains and to freshen the fringes when needed.
We recommend professional cleaning every 1 or 2 years depending how dirty the rug gets. It's also best practice to rotate the rug every month or so to avoid wear from developing easily on a single spot of the rug.
